Responsibilities Grow the business with respect to marketing services to enhance revenue and profitability in current customer base. Meet growth revenue targets. Actively develop strategic relationships with key decision makers within the customer base. Enhance relationships with current and prospective clients by leveraging the credibility gained through knowledge and performance of the client s business environment and requirements. Proactively identify and manage potential problems/escalations within customer base with appropriate resolution plans. Seek and continuously develop knowledge of client business to build an understanding of their needs. Be seen as a trusted advisor to all customers through consultative engagements and adding value throughout the supply chain. Manage Account(s) to ensure understanding and maximisation of the profitability on account(s) by taking the required proactive actions both internally and with the customer. Manage and proactively identify accounts whose revenue may be shrinking so as to address any at risk customers and reach out to those accounts to ensure they are retained as profitable customers. Ensure that contracted customer Service Level Agreements (SLA s) are met. Ensure that the account install base is accurate and current. Ensure that all billing (contract time and material) is raised billed and recovered. Outstanding debtors and recovery. Develop and manage account plans to meet the business needs of clients. Manage overall service levels whilst delivering value add to all customers. Accountable for resolving issues with the customer s operation in order to formulate and present relevant solutions. Manage account adherence to quality management requirements so as to ensure that processes are implemented. Generate accurate weekly feedback report on all visits issues SLA s opportunities for growth within existing account risk exposure customers on hold minutes of all meetings held during the previous week with clients projected weekly schedule of appointments for client visits general activities new business/client leads outstanding debtors status and propose solutions thereto. Conduct weekly site visits to current client base ensuring comprehensive understanding of clients business. Monthly meeting with existing client base reporting on SLA s challenges successes threats opportunities etc. Ensure that services are competitively and profitably priced resulting in growth to the bottom line. Ensure the turnaround of non-profit accounts and optimising current profitability. Ensure that price increase negotiations on contract are concluded timeously. Ensure retention of customers. Conduct customer interfaces and meetings ensuring that action items are timeously resolved. Ensure all projects and/or extension business is priced correctly to obtain maximum profitability and revenue by ensuring that Profitability Analyst is advised of all the necessary elements to be costed. Adherence to company bid management process is compulsory. Ensure all new business transactions are maintained and updated accurately within Siebel to enable consolidated reporting of your business opportunities. Maintain and review LAMP (Goldsheet) and pipeline funnel monthly. Provide monthly funnel management reports from Siebel for your respective portfolio for review with executive. Experience 5 years IT operational experience. 3 years experience in customer relations/client management. Exposure to retail POS environment (hardware). Exposure to major accounts and major projects. Exposure to major RFP s/tenders. Knowledge Sound knowledge of business principles financial management marketing and sales. Knowledge of IT services. Familiar with the purpose and composition of Service Level Agreements. Must have solid knowledge of the business transaction solution and the various partner solutions within the service delivery. Relevant knowledge and experience in a retail environment a definite advantage. Knowledge of desktop retail POS Kiosks call centre solutions E-Commerce consumer contract solutions and payment solutions. Computer literacy: - Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint).
