Khetho Recruitment Registered Nurse - MICU PURPOSE OF THE JOB The incumbent Nurse will be responsible for direct and/or indirect nursing care of a patient or group of patients. The RN is responsible for determining and interpreting patients needs. Patient care must be such that all patient needs are always met and that patients are comfortable pain free happy and satisfied. Ensure good knowledge of CPR be able to apply knowledge and competency in emergency situation know the use of Defibrillator emergency trolley algorithms protocol & Code Blue. Prevent any medical legal risks. Be competent and have a good knowledge of surgical procedures aseptic techniques and principals and theory. Attend and give in-service training and do continue education. Give education advice and information to patients during pre- and post operative visits. Good knowledge of Netcare / Hospital / Ward policies & protocols Nursing Act s & Regulations emergency and evacuation plan as well as the doctors standing protocols. Good knowledge of patient s documentation and how to use them correctly & legally. Good knowledge of writing and reporting incidents handling of scheduled medicine & books and Student s documentation. Good knowledge of clinical & documentation audit procedure and quality improvement program. Ensure economical use of stock and equipment by preventing wastage. Khetho Recruitment Catering Manager PURPOSE OF THE JOB The Catering Manager is responsible for the management of all related catering service and activities according to the policies procedures philosophy and objectives.
