Duties: Maintenance on mixing filling and high speed packing machinery. Analysing Planned Maintenance schedules; investigate complaints; conducting tests; resolving problems w.r.t. all production equipment. Troubleshooting breakdowns fault finding including electronic (PLC) and pneumatic systems. Ensure that all documents Job Cards and Maintenance Check Sheets are completed timeously. Compile and present technical reports of deficiencies to the Technical Services Manager Propose solutions to problems identified with the aim of reducing downtime. Ensure that mechanical spares are available and ready for use when required Identify Critical spares and compile a list of spare parts required to ensure minimum downtime of equipment. Provide corrective recommendations on a proactive basis as required. Check and monitor compliance of standards to comply with MCC WHO and ISO14644 standards. Ensure machinery complies with the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Assist Technical Services Department with planned maintenance on all plant and equipment within the organization such as chillers compressors filling and packing equipment Skills and characteristics required: Project and resource management skills (Preferable). Excellent theoretical and practical technical skills Be familiar with instrumentation related to filling and packaging equipment... High degree of computer literacy. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Relationship management skills. Team and project focused & Problem solving and analytical skills. Self-motivated & Innovative.
