Immigration Consultant - Immigration Practitioner

Immigration Consultant A well established Recruitment and Immigration Company based in the City Bowl seek an Immigration Consultant to join their team. Due to vast growth in clientele the team is looking for a young and dynamic candidate to carry out full Immigration functions. Role Overview: The successful candidate will be required to correspond and service a diverse group of current clientele from junior to executive level. All documents need to be collated and submitted to the relevant Government Authorities and continuous follow-ups are to be made on the submissions. Following from this it will therefore be required to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the Governing Bodies to ensure that accurate and timeous feedback is received. The Company has stringent Service Level Agreements with all clients which needs to be adhered to. In doing so the successful candidate will be required to maintain excellent management of each case and correspond with the applicant to provide constant updates. Duties: The successful candidate will be required to complete the following: Immigration - Assess and examine each case and provide possible immigration solutions which will including examination and recognition of forged documentation (this will require excellent observational skills and an understanding of forgery techniques) - Conduct personal interviews with each client and work with interpreters if necessary - Collect relevant documentation from the clients - Collate application forms and ensure that the required documents are accurately completed - Submit application forms for Visa and Work Permit Applications timeously to the relevant Governing Bodies - Communicate with relevant Governing/ Statutory Bodies and Overseas Embassies - Provide feedback to clients regarding their applications - Reports- Monthly and Weekly reporting (brief case studies and statistics on applications) - Stay abreast of changing legislation changing economic needs and current affairs - Comply with legislation rules and policies - Tracking and administrative duties Customer Relation Management - Follow up on leads for new possible business - Cross selling to candidates from the Recruitment division - Add new clients to our existing database Administration - Respond to queries and enquiries - Sending of Template documentation to clients - Filling of all duplicate submission - Correspond with clientele regarding expiring Visas - Escalation of incidents to the relevant Team Leader Required Skills: - Knowledge of Immigration Law the rights of refugee and asylum seekers - At least two (2) years Immigration experience in South Africa - Tertiary education in the related fields (SA or aboard) - Advanced level of communication both written and verbal - Intermediate MS Word and Excel The successful candidate will be required to show past experience in: - Ability to analyse and interpret information quickly and accurately to reach a sound decision - Time Management- Calmness under pressure and the ability to meet tight deadlines - Working under pressure - Initiative - Analytical Skills - High attention to detail - Excellent interpersonal skills- Firmness allied with courtesy and tact - Ability to Listen attentively - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Advantage: Past Management Skills - A Foreign Language is an advantage Should you wish to apply please send a motivational letter (no longer than 100 words) and CV to work@initiategroup.co.za Should you not hear from us within two (2) weeks please deem your application unsuccessful.
