JOB DESCRIPTION The Deputy Chief of Party (Planning Engineer) (DCOP) is expected to provide design and construction supervision oversight to the local A/E firms during the design of all projects. He/she shall be the principal deputy to the COP pertaining to issues of project design and implementation and risk assessment and mitigation activities. He/she shall be the coordinator between the capacity building and the actual construction implementation. The DCOP shall assist the Training and Capacity Building Coordinator in the design and delivery of training as required. The DCOP will be responsible for supporting the COP and ensuring the success of this project including helping the project adhere to schedule budget and quality as well as helping to ensure team management and leadership.
