A fantastic establishment in Stellenbosch is looking to add a receptionist to their team. Must be very well spoken and at least have 4 experience and own transport. The successful candidate will be required to: Welcome all guests Follow check-in and checkout procedures and ensure that all registration cards are correctly completed Obtain prior authorization before processing credits onto guests bills and/or collecting correct deposit from cash paying guests Allocate rooms effectively Monitoring of reception handover diary on a regular basis noting follow ups and actions to be taken Processing departures cash credit card or forex Processing of direct bills noting correspondence/method of payment instructions Ongoing liaison with the Housekeeping department Ensure room moves are co-ordinated with housekeeping following front office guidelines Ongoing liaison with maintenance regarding requests
A top reservationist consultant is required for a Cape Town based reservations office. You will be required to make and encourage sales for a Botswana Safari Lodge and so we are looking for someone who has a minimum of 2 years experience working with camp/lodge reservations previously. You will have a detailed understanding of the logistics of guests travelling to Botswana & Kenya as well as lodge and camp operations. Ideally you would have sold safari camps in Botswana previously. You need to be motivated and driven to fulfil the role to a high standard with an excellent command of both written and spoken English. Being fully computer literate is a must due to the nature of the role is being very computer based. Additionally if you have experience of resRequest it would be highly beneficial! We are only looking for people who are currently based in Cape Town for the role (live out position) with the salary negotiable for the right candidate.
