Projects and Field Operations Engineer

They are looking to recruit an individual with minimum 10years experience in construction/ Modula building installation to supervise field crews operating on sites locally and in remote sites in SADC region Remuneration: Negotiable Minimum Requirements: Fluent English & Portuguese. Additional languages an advantage. Civil Engineering Degree or Diploma Expert knowledge & extensive experience in handling projects crew management Planning & completion of projects in a cost efficient timely quality & safety complaint manner in the construction/manufactured housing industry. Must be willing to work in Pemba & Maputo offices travel within the region and work on projects in remote sites. Develops and maintains filing system for recording communications from the field crews and documentation from the clients Receives units and materials sent to the job site from the factory or direct from other vendors. Coordinates Customs procedures and delivery to work site. Controls and takes responsibility for money expended at the job site. Prepares Expense Reports and sends to the Area Office Briefs field crew to insure thorough understanding of company s scope of work prior to mobilization. Coordinates with field crew supervisors for projects site safety induction material/equipment requirements and organize the acquisition and shipment of items to work site. Inspects and insures that units and materials are properly packaged in a secure manner for shipment to site. Prepares Weekly Field Status Reports for management review. Coordinates and facilitates the acceptance and sign-off of completed work with the clients representatives. Other duties as may be assigned by the Area Manager from time to time.
