Your tasks: - Determine the financial viability of alternative energy generation or fuel production systems based on power source or feedstock quality financing costs potential revenue and total project costs - Forecast or analyze financial costs associated with climate change or other environmental factors such as clean water supply and demand - Evaluate and compare the relative quality of various securities in a given industry - Present oral or written reports on general economic trends individual corporations and entire industries - Monitor fundamental economic industrial and corporate developments by analyzing information from financial publications and services investment banking firms government agencies trade publications company sources or personal interviews - Monitor developments in the fields of industrial technology business finance and economic theory - Drawcharts and graphs using computer spreadsheets to illustrate technical reports Your skills: - Determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions operations and the environment will affect outcomes - Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making - Giving full attention to what other people are saying taking time to understand the points being made asking questions as appropriate and not interrupting at inappropriate times - Determining how money will be spent to get the work done and accounting for these expenditures - Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one - Actively looking for ways to help people
