Scheduling and Acquisition 1.1. Film material ordered and delivered on time 1.2. Successful implementation of weekly line-ups Weekly booking and scheduling (within the guidelines of the overall company strategy) Responsible for implementing the weekly line-up and confirming film showing times for each cinema Ensure that all film times are correct and approved for customer facing publications (e.g. website accurately reflects confirmed bookings) Ensure all film material and prints are ordered and delivered to your cinemas Visit both your cinemas of responsibility and those of your immediate competitors to gain knowledge of local facilities and markets and to build strong personal relations with Cinema Management teams Individual site analysis and long term trend reviews (film hire screen average and market share) Local strategy development Responsible for analysing all film and cinema box office data for your cinemas of responsibility Weekly monitoring and analysing competitor activity Attend meetings and presentations as required i.e Regional meetings Film Days Responsible for any day to day administration connected with the programming of product into a site i.e general print problem block bookings etc. View all trailers for all films and assessing their correct positioning for your cinema Ad hoc projects as required 2. Select and Alternative Content Control 2.1 Year on year growth for Select Alternative Content and Film Festivals 2.2 Established relationships with external suppliers 2.3 Achievement of profit targets View all films and assessing their commerciality Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all films released and keeping abreast of forthcoming releases Responsible for developing and growing the current Select Alternative Content and Film Festivals offering to ensure that contribution to business profit and audience growth is maximised Explore identify and develop new business opportunities within the Select Alternative Content and Film Festivals Responsible for the management and development of relationships with current external suppliers (including Satellite Providers Met Opera National Theatre Film Integrators and Distributors etc). Identify and develop relationships with new suppliers to source and increase the Select and Alternative content offering Work with relevant internal teams to provide a detailed understanding of our customers so as to ensure that the Select and Alternative Content opportunities are appropriately targeted. Analyse all Select and Alternative Content data ensuring profit targets are achieved Liaise with other Scheduling and Acquisition Analysts and to ensure that the correct cinemas are allocated for Select and Alternative Content shows Effective communication across all areas of the business to ensure that business opportunities in relation to Select and Alternative Content are maximised (especially Marketing) Responsible for cross functional project management of Alternative Content activity to ensure the successful delivery of content in particular the Operations Marketing & Technical teams Work closely with the technical department to ensure that the technical capability within the business is developed and meets future Alternative Content requirements or to apply for this vacancy.
