Installations on site manager: To start ASAP Salary Totaly Neg Candidates must have come from the Glass and Aluminium Indusrty MUST HAVE FULL KNOWLEDGE FOR THE INSTALLATION OF ALUMINIUM SHOP FRONTS DOORS CURTAIN WALLS WINDOWS FLUSH GLAZING AND GLAZING Duties and responsibilities include the following: Overseeing and assisting with all installations done on site and making sure it installed according to AAMSA regulations and that our quality is perfect. Watching on site staff and overseeing and signing off all work they complete. Helping management achieve discipline in the company and maintaining it reporting all staff disciplinary problems as well as quality issues to HR department at all times and assisting in giving on site written warning. Keeping detailed log books of ALL activities one by yourself as well as your team at ALL times. Assisting with keeping vehicles in good condition. Assisting with on site safety files and making sure your team is working safely at all times and that equipment is checked on a daily basis. Attending on site meetings and professionally communicating with Principal contractors. Making sure all our installations are covered for protection against damage. Making sure deadlines are met at all times and that installations are completed to avoid contract chargers at all times. Making sure you have all material needed to successfully complete any project given to you. Working hand in hand with the production manager HR manager and Head installations manager at all times. Making sure your teams and you are neat and taking responsibility for your site at all times. Must have valid driver s Licence must work 2 x Saturdays a month and be willing to work overtime. Must be actively involved in installations but at the same time overseeing projects checking that on site staff know what they are doing and if not to train them. The following falls under the production manager duties & responsibilities: Must have full knowledge of Aluminium Shop fronts doors vista folds windows curtain wall and Louvre manufacturing and at least 3 years experience as production manager. Overseeing the Producing and manufacturing all products( from beginning to end with all hardware) that need to be installed on site working hand in hand with the installations manager and providing cutting slips for production and filing them to be reviewed if there are any problem. Quality control being pro-active and overseeing staff working and making sure they know exactly what they are doing and if they don t to train them develop a quality control plan and see it through. Overseeing deliveries and Material sent to and collected from Powder coaters making sure quantities are correct at all times and using stockroom attendant to assist only. Monitoring production staff making sure they work safely and effectively at all times and making sure they clear away all hazards that may cause injury or damage. Assisting in making sure staff is neat and production is neat and that staff are disciplined when needed. To refer any staff & safety issues to HR manager also reporting poor & sub standard work late coming adopting a insolent attitude towards the company leaving the floor without informing supervisor or manager. Making sure weekly stock takes are done and communicated to the MD(to be aware of stock loss at all times) Ordering stock when authorised and after stocktaking was done. Making sure you daily report are sent to the MD every afternoon before going home of everything that was done by yourself and the production staff during the day so that he can plan ahead. Managing all off cuts and communicating with Recycling Company about collection and making sure material is ready for collections. Seeing that vehicles are loaded properly in mornings and that staff keep company vehicles clean also knowing what the site staff put on their vehicles and what they return so that stock loss can be prevented Making sure that everything in production runs smoothly like a well oiled machine at all times and that rules are adhered to and any other duties that may be expected of you from time to time from the MD or Installations manager. Making sure that the factory inside outside and storeroom is clean and neat at all times and that alu stock is packed according to colour and sections making sure staff production staff are neat locking factory at end of working day. Must have own transport and valid driver s licence. Must be willing to work overtime and 2 Saturdays per month compulsory. This IS NOT a sit in your office al day job it will be expected of you to be active at ALL times and spend a minimum of 1 hour a day doing computer work.
