using electrician s tools - Reassemble and test equipment after repairs - Install new fuses electrical
Your tasks: - Examine parts for defects such as breakage or excessive wear - Operate newly repaired machinery or equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs - Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery or equipment - Observe and test the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions using voltmeters or other testing devices - Clean lubricate or adjust parts equipment or machinery - Cut and weld metal to repair broken metal parts fabricate new parts or assemble new equipment - Study blueprints or manufacturers manuals to determine correct installation or operation of machinery - Record repairs and maintenance performed Your skills: - Analyzing needs and product requirements to create a design - Identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance relative to the goals of the system - Actively looking for ways to help people - Repairing machines or systems using the needed tools - Determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions operations and the environment will affect outcomes
Your tasks: - Place conduit pipes or tubing inside designated partitions walls or other concealed areas and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes - Use a variety of tools or equipment such as power construction equipment measuring devices power tools and testing equipment such as oscilloscopes ammeters or test lamps - Direct or train workers to install maintain or repair electrical wiring equipment or fixtures - Construct and fabricate parts using hand tools and specifications - Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring equipment or fixtures based on job specifications and local codes - Diagnose malfunctioning systems apparatus or components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem Your skills: - Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed - Monitoring/assessing performance of yourself other individuals or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action - Giving full attention to what other people are saying taking time to understand the points being made asking questionsas appropriate and not interrupting at inappropriate times - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions conclusions or approaches to problems - Motivating developing and directing people as they work identifying the best people for the job - Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it
