An exciting opportunity has opened in our Airport Operations environment for a passionate and dedicated individual. Key Performance Outputs This exciting opportunity calls for a person to be part of a dynamic team at Cape Town International Airport. The successful candidate will focus on providing the following services: To facilitate cross functional communication and sharing information with the AMC team. Management of airport operations on a process level to ensure seamless facilitation of passengers through Landside Terminals and Airside. To provide leadership to the AMC team and reduce the impact of events and delays to the passenger baggage and aircraft processes. Ensuring Landside Terminals and Airside operational effectiveness which include all related activities i.e. inner and outer lane management parking management Apron bay allocations Airside service Terminal capacity management. Effective implementation of the Emergency Management Service. Contributing towards a safe and secure airport operational environment which adheres to international standards and practices. Monitoring construction and maintenance activities to reduce the impact on operations and service levels. Process and facilitate large groups of passengers for special events. Ensure that resource allocations are in line with hourlypax flow rates. Technical Skills and Experience A formal tertiary qualification. 5 years stakeholder management experience. Advanced knowledge of airport and stakeholder operational infrastructure and processes. Knowledge of quality management systems and processes including ISO. Must be computer literate. Competencies The successful candidate should posses the following competencies: -Ability to co-ordinate and manage independently. - excellent conflict resolution and communications skills. - must be results driven and possess good planning and organising skills. -A natural leader with strong interpersonal skills and ability to operate under pressure. -Ability to evaluate processes and to act in the best interest of all affected parties.
