Core Tasks Manage all staff in the underwriting administration and Credit Control Departments. Make sure that departments under your management run smoothly on a day to day basis. Screening and distribution of incoming mail. Ensure accuracy of outgoing documentation is up to company standards. Facilitating the timeous renewal of policies. Facilitate and assist with queries from the Underwriting Claims Marketing re-insurance and accounts departments. Assist with arranging facultative re-insurance when required. Negotiate renewals with Brokers / Clients / Re-insurers. Provide assistance to HR with new appointments and interviews. Develop implement and monitor administration processes to ensure efficient policy administration. Monitoring and Assisting with commission payments to Brokers and agents. Monitoring and Assisting with all outgoing re-insurance payments. Responsible for monthly reporting on underwriting budgets Loss ratios and the like to the EXCO.
