The Tax Compliance Administrator is responsible for all tax administration including: Taxpayer registrations Communication with regulators regarding tax matters Maintaining all tax records and correspondence Coordinating the recordkeeping process for the Group s subsidiaries outside South Africa Liaising with tax service providers regarding engagement letters fee notes etc. Liaising with tax service providers regarding the submission of returns and payments to ensure compliance with deadlines Requesting and checking tax account statements issued by regulators reconciling same to internal tax records and resolving issues noted Reviewing assessments issued by regulators against returns filed and maintaining a register of outstanding assessments objections and appeals Ensuring accurate and timely payment of taxes and following up any related issues Compiling corroborative information for tax computations and returns Ad-hoc tax compliance testing (e.g. analytical reviews) Treasury (cash) management Preparing daily cash flow forecast Ensuring daily cash flow transfers are set up accurately and bank transfer cut-off times are adhered to Ad-hoc online payment processing Ensuring compliance with the Group Treasury Policy Maintaining all treasury process documentation Administration of investment accounts (e.g. call accounts) including opening of new facilities closing of redundant facilities FICA compliance signatory maintenance etc. Reconciliation of treasury general ledger accounts Preparing cash performance information for management reporting Other Preparing and distributing minutes of meetings Training motivations and bookings Preparation of selected statutory annual financial statements as part of the year-end reporting process Assist with Finance/Tax projects or to apply for this vacancy.
