Summary of Position To professionally market (take orders) and provide technical information and support to customer base and increase the customer base in a specific area to maximize sales and profit whilst maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and thereby improving the image and profitability. Key performance areas: Achievement of sales targets at the required profit parameters. Regular visits (according to pre-planned calling schedule) to the customer base for the purpose of promoting sales/product. Develop and implement plans to achieve or improve the area turnover target. Keep abreast of pricing and discount policies trading terms and new products to meet customer requirements while ensuring company profitability. Deal with customer complaints (products or otherwise) efficiently and effectively to ensure that relationships do not suffer as a result. Key Performance areas of Job Look over discharge area ensure products are all well stacked and ensure monthly stock dates are done correctly. Inspection of stock with focus on quality sorting packing and rotation of stock maintenance and monitoring of stock levels. Adhere to health and safety regulations supervise assistants ensure correct material is supplied ensure all employees have correct knowledge to supply correct material Make sure correct amount of stock is issued ensure records are captured onto system. Make sure goods are not damaged. Physically count stock regularly and ensure accuracy. Ensure stocks that are delivered are good quality. Ensure FG shrinkage is kept within agreed mimimums ensure that orders leave for customers on time ensure optimum flow of FG from factory to warehouse to customers. Staff must be managed in regards in taking necessary disciplinary actions when needed. Hours of work must be flexible to ensure we meet customer demands Continually evaluate most cost effective transport solutions without compromising deliveries.
