DUTIES: 1. Assist with the full co-ordination and control of factory 2. Assist with the full control and supervision of factory staff 3. Assist with daily production meetings with factory staff and setting of daily work schedules for them 4. Manufacturing components 5. Daily quality control checks 6. The supervision of and assisting with the packing away of manufactured stock onto factory shelving 7. Regular stock rotation 8. Stock control 9. Twice monthly stock takes 10. Ordering of stock through Purchase Orders 11. Checking in of stock being delivered by suppliers 12. Dealing with stock orders that have been incorrectly delivered by suppliers and requesting credit notes where necessary 13. Dealing with selective supplier representatives 14. Staff technical training on all factory machinery / site training when necessary 15. Coil control checks and filling out of and monitoring of coil control sheets 16. Assist Operations Manager or Factory Manager with the maintenance of and servicing of gutter and down pipe machines with General Manager & Director 17. Maintenance of all factory and site team equipment power tools ladders etc. 18. Maintenance of generators and servicing thereof through approved dealers 19. Maintenance of vehicles and servicing thereof through approved dealers 20. All telesales calls 21. Achieving of monthly factory sales target 22. Key Performance areas of Job Look over discharge area ensure products are all well stacked and ensure monthly stock dates are done correctly. Inspection of stock with focus on quality sorting packing and rotation of stock maintenance and monitoring of stock levels. Adhere to health and safety regulations supervise assistants ensure correct material is supplied ensure all employees have correct knowledge to supply correct material Make sure correct amount of stock is issued ensure records are captured onto system. Make sure goods are not damaged. Physically count stock regularly and ensure accuracy. Ensure stocks that are delivered are good quality. Ensure FG shrinkage is kept within agreed mimimums ensure that orders leave for customers on time ensure optimum flow of FG from factory to warehouse to customers. Staff must be managed in regards in taking necessary disciplinary actions when needed. Hours of work must be flexible to ensure we meet customer demands Continually evaluate most cost effective transport solutions without compromising deliveries. Ensure zero tolerance policy for theft is in place.
