Internal Communication with all departments and amongst team members. Do complete breakdowns of design concepts for basic budgetary quotation purposes quantify break downs for material usages based on specific projects or concept requirements and verify Break downs compiled by junior department members. Also document and distribute accurate meeting minutes design reviews and customer presentations. Procurement planning and follow up. Ordering of samples and / or non standard components and accessories for the development of parts and projects and prototype parts. 3D Modeling. 2D Drawings. Drawing control. Responsible for creating and ensuring project based part numbers and descriptions are correctly documented and followed through to BOMS and subsequently onto the System. Correlating completed drawings and stock codes onto the drawing system once in production. Check and approve drawings made by other department members. Ensures safe laboratory operations Owning and implementing all SHEQ Policies and Procedures ensuring compliance with Company & statutory requirements. Managing the Lab team to ensure that customer orders are delivered in full on time in line with agreed quality performance & safety standards. Ensuring that all changes and anticipated changes in legislation or best practice are communicated to the business and recommendations for action are implemented. Accountable for ensuring that inspections are conducted on raw materials and finished product to check compliance with determined specifications and quality standards. Managing and co-ordinating the company s Integrated Management System (IMS) encompassing safety health environment and quality standards (eg ISO systems) . Assuming responsibility for the co-ordination preparation and distribution of relevant documentation. Ensuring policies procedures and work instructions are current and accurate. Evaluating SHEQ requirements as part of the project planning process and prior to purchasing goods or services Manage legal compliance audits and meetings to measure overall SHEQ performance and co-ordinate necessary corrective actions. Managing and co-ordinating the customer complaints process to assess validity of claims and ensure relevant corrective actions are implemented by internal and external teams. Carrying out detailed investigation and analysis of all reported incidents near misses and accidents to identify trends and recommendations. Ensuring new employees and contractors to the site are inducted to minimum Company standard. Managing and monitoring employee health and safety aspects (such as noise dust and other relevant issues) and assessing incidents to prevent occupational hazardous Driving a quality-focused approach to the production and QC processes Implementing and managing effective security systems on site that are in accordance with company requirements.
