Line Manager Trade Desk

The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily management of the Trade Desk team. This will include but not be limited to the management and coordination of trading with fund managers collating valuations confirming trades unit reconciliations and all associated work as well as process and system enhancements towards the successful delivery of the trade function. Requirements; Relevant financial / investment qualification or studying towards one. 5 years experience in an Investment Administration (asset management and/or multi-management) environment Minimum 3 years experience in managing people. Duties: Process: Manage the daily trading function to fund managers (local and global) are processed accurately and on the agreed deadline Manage the daily confirmation process and aging analysis of outstanding trades sent to the fund managers Co ordinate the successful reconciliation of monthly unit balances between system and fund managers Continuously strive to enhance and improve the Trade Desk process. Manage portfolio setups on system when required Ensure efficient and accurate capture and upload of valuations (market values and prices) from fund managers on a daily basis Maintain and update daily and monthly checklists Develop and maintain relationships with fund managers Escalate all related issues to operations manager should resolution not be forthcoming Support coach develop and train team members Ensure adherence to SLA standards and turnaround times Manager the collation of information needed for monthly performance comparison between internal systems and fund manager s monthly performance Manage risk parameters towards ensuring minimal losses take place due to human error/process failure Respond to internal and external queries within the agreed turnaround time. Money Laundering Reporting Analyst

Responsibilities: To mitigate the risk of the company s products and services being abused for the purposes of money laundering or terrorist financing through the establishment and maintenance of an effective money laundering control framework relating to the analysis of transactions and the analysis of suspicious transactions. This includes: The assistance in the development and implementation of effective governance structures policies guidelines and procedures The proactive response to statutory regulatory or supervisory developments The co-ordination of money laundering reporting initiatives through the group Ongoing monitoring of adherence by business units to group compliance requirements Status reporting to Business units and various Risk Management Committees Investigation of suspicious transactions validating the suspicion and when required forward reporting to the applicable law enforcement authorities The response to statutory and regulatory requests for information e.g. subpoenas Ability to conduct trend analysis on suspicious reports Compilation of relevant MI Conduct training to Business Units on Suspicious transaction typologies. Continuous research around negative publicity around both active and clients Review all thresholds triggers and buckets in order to identify any areas of weakness across business. propose changes/enhancements in order to close any gaps identified; Identify any gaps in the process followed within each BU in terms of how alerts are signed off the level of investigation followed and the documentation of evidence in terms the due diligence followed; Document a high level procedural document setting minimum standards to be followed when signing off alerts; Prepare a training module on the standards to be followed when signing off alerts and roll out across all the BU s; Provide regular coaching assistance to the BU s on signing off alerts; Prepare an assurance plan on the due diligence carried out on transaction monitoring RFI alerts Screening alerts High risk clients; Manage the relationship between IT and Group AML as well as prepare the applicable user/business specification on any changes/enhancements to systems; Review and process all suspicious transaction reports and section 32 requests received from the FIC within agreed timeframes; Conduct investigations on suspicions of Money Laundering Terrorist Financing and sanctioned/blacklisted entities; Submit reports on suspicions of Money Laundering according to the standards of the FIC; Reconcile statistics received from the FIC.
