Range: Execute strategic sourcing initiatives for the commodities Consult with the identified cross functional team Global and domestic strategic sourcing Manage Tender Process for assigned commodities: Draft and issue Tender documents for assigned commodities. Develop criteria to identify sources and qualify for Long Term contracts Draft and evaluate Tender documents for assigned commodities Co-ordinate and send communication with all relevant suppliers during the tender and negotiation stages Evaluate Tenders Evaluate Tender documents commercially and co-ordinate financial legal technical evaluations and ensure consensus with Cross-Functional Team Assess Tender documents for responsiveness identify deviations and clarify deviations and/or anomalies with suppliers and technical experts Compile tender evaluation reports for divisional and/or other approval committee Build and maintain supplier relations with suppliers of assigned commodities Develop and maintaining preferred supplier lists and ensure vendor master updates Track and improve non-compliance with preferred supplier(s). Execute contract strategies as advised by Category Managers: Develop and implement contracts with suppliers through the RFP/RFQ process Support Category Manager (when required) at the respective procurement forums or to apply for this vacancy.
