TRAINING MANAGER (CALL CENTER)

Employer: Ismart (Pty) Ltd Call Center in Green Point seeking a creative innovative and passionate T raining Manager for an established outbound sales call centre. The Training Manager will be required to plan organize and direct a wide range of training activities such as creation and implementation of internal learning programs to improve current skill sets management of people development program maintenance and improvement of current training initiatives. Personally facilitate where necessary and also manage the Trainers on site within the business in order to establish direction and ensure delivery of business specific training and development needs to meet company goals. The successful applicant will feel comfortable in a fast-paced environment. TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES Drive and support training to reach performance goals of the company; Knowledge management - Keep all training materials up to date and in sync with client Use necessary resources to produce and refine training materials and curriculum as required. Organizing the facilitation of training materials in call centers (also includes e-learning external training etc.); Training Needs - Identifying training and development needs within the company and specific to Product Sales Customer Service training; Design and develop training programs development of training programs based on both the organization s needs facilitation of programs that are satisfactory to all relevant parties in the organization; Implementation of training programs - Ensuring that statutory training requirements are met. Coordinates training plan weekly monthly and quarterly. Amends and revises programs as necessary and approved by client in order to adapt to the changes that occur in the work environment. Organises approved training plans. Helps managers coaches and trainers to solve specific training problems either on a one-to-one basis or in groups. Supervises the work of trainers. Trains instructors and coaches in techniques and skills for training and dealing with employees; Appraisal of training effectiveness - Evaluates training and development programs; Manage completion and submission of WSP and ATR; Manage Learnerships available through SETA; QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 3-5 years of call center / training management experience; Relevant Training or related Tertiary Qualification; Grade 12/Matric or equivalent qualification; Computer literate (Advanced MS office Word Excel power point and outlook); SDF qualification an advantage; Experience with ATR and WSP submissions; Experience with SETA and co-ordination of Learnership Programmes; Management experience is essential; Cellular Experience will be advantageous; Knowledge and experience of best practice training and coaching methodologies; Innovative approach to development of material and delivery of training; Candidate Requirements SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: Excellent verbal and written communication; Ability to work as part of a team as well as demonstrating own initiative; Ability to work under pressure whilst remaining flexible during any period of change based on the needs of the business; Highly self-motivated; Results driven; Assertiveness; Attention to detail; Problem solving skills; Interpersonal skills; Coaching skills; Presentation skills; Time Management skills; Planning and implementation skills; Developing Budgets; Team Player; Resilient.
