RETAIL HOSPITALITY SALES REPS Preamble : Only suitable candidates that meet the following criteria will be interviewed: Male or female would be suitable. Previous sales experience; specifically calling on the hospitality market - does not have to be related to linen or textiles but must have established contacts within the hospitality market. This point would be very advantageous. This dynamic individual must possess the following traits : Energetic Driven Goal orientated Articulate Methodical Self-motivated Independent Dynamic A team player Possess basic family and traditional values We are looking for a person who has a stable track record (this point is very important) and is serious about embarking on a challenging career that could offer expansive promotional opportunities in the future should the person prove themselves through sales achievements and sales success. The person would need to be a self-starter in terms being able to work independently and being self-motivated to excel at the job at hand. The person would need to embrace traditional and family values (as this would ensure a good fit within our business culture.) The short listed candidates will go through various testing process including role play an interview with a business physiologist and a personality profile assessment. These short listed candidates will be flown to Port Elizabeth for the final interview. The candidates that will be interviewed must conduct their independent research and find out as much as possible about the company and in particular the companies hospitality division - as this will form the cornerstone of the initial interview. Comprehensive reference checks must be done on all candidates that will be interview. Please note that we want to find a correct person who will yield the growth we required for this role and therefore we may negotiate slightly on the overall package offered to the candidate. Basic Salary - All in R10k The person we employ can split this into car allowance etc. Commission on top of this provided pre-set targets are met. Petrol card Usual benefits Synopsis of position (The hospitality division operating out of the retail division) Five additional sales reps will be employed to cover specific geographic area s These sales reps will be stationed at the following pre-determined retail stores in each area viz. WITBANK (MP1) K90 East Rand (GP1) CWM West Rand and Fourways (GP1) CLC Centurion and Midrand (GP2) AVM Pretoria East and North (GP2) The reps employed will measured against the following KPA s : Develop and maintain customer relationships and promote company products and services against pre-set targets. The sales reps performance will be measured against pre-set targets viz. sales budget. It is however imperative to understand that failure to meet sales budgets are viewed in a very serious light. (Sales budgets are set based on history and are considered to be fair.) Increase customer base by using methods of lateral thinking and creativity. Enhance and spread a good company image by using professional selling skills. Proactively enhance the concept of teamwork. Daily duties and responsibilities : Responsible for the turnover and growth of the retail hospitality business in accordance with anticipated sales volumes. The initial focus and objective of the external sales consultant would be to re-establish the brand with inactive customers throughout the area. These customers; generally fall into the category of small to medium size enterprises. Increase sales volumes by using methods of lateral thinking and creativity. Actively pursue any leads or customer requests and proactively turn these leads and requests into definite sales. Proactively market the full range of companies products to customers including; hospitals hotels bed and breakfast establishments guesthouses motels old age homes educational institutions sporting clubs and any other potential customer. These sales reps will be proactively managed on a daily basis by the store manager The rep will be measured and incentivised on all hospitality sales in there geographic area The reps will be measured against pre-set sales goals including sales derived from existing customers as well as sales derived from new customers or to apply for this vacancy. Position Purpose This position is an Exco role and the person will be responsible for defining driving and implementing the overall client experience strategy for Financial Wellness within the company s Sales environment. Collaboration with key stakeholders across the business is key in this position to ultimately deliver a differentiated client experience in the market. Experience & Qualifications A senior position with relevant tertiary education and minimum of 8 years experience in related field (preferably within Financial Services industry). The Incumbent will be responsible for: Define and drive overall Financial Wellness client experience strategy and implementation including engagement with relevant stakeholders for surveying segmentation service differentiation operational efficiencies resultant client & intermediary behavior competitor comparisons for client experience etc.) Design and deliver a client and intermediary experience consistent with Financial Wellness s philosophy and in line with global standards for client experience. Map spec and prioritize client experience functional requirements in line with product development cycle. Use client experience strategy to drive segmented experience approach across all sales channels. Lead the design and monitoring of exceptional client journeys across all Financial Wellness client touch points including Advice and The Modern Practice.
