Responsibilities: Develop and implement data governance policies processes and standards covering all aspects and disciplines of data governance Embed the data governance operating model across the group Define and implement detailed frameworks to support the implementation of data governance/management Performance manages the progress towards achievement of the objectives outlined in the data governance work programme Consider the impact of legislation and regulatory requirements on data governance Monitor and ensure that the necessary data and information functions in relation to the carrying out of statutory and regulatory imperatives are undertaken Ensure alignment between IT and business as it relates to data governance and management in IT systems Ensure that all data management functions performed by IT e.g. data development master data management data operations management etc. are performed in accordance with the data governance policies standards and processes Actively monitor the implementation and adherence of the data governance/management policies standards and processes Be an active and influential member of data governance forums Promote an organisational data governance and data management culture Provide data governance advice and guidance to the business and IT stakeholders. Support any related Group Level data governance projects Obtain a thorough understanding of business data management challenges and assist to define remediation and control measures Develop and maintain good relationships with data governance stakeholders (e.g. BU representatives IT data stewards data owners business key risk owners etc.) through on-going interaction Develop a good understanding of business and technology strategies and initiatives which impact on data governance through discussion and interaction with the relevant stakeholders Consider all influencing events both internal and external; quantify the data governance impact on the organisation and proactively find and recommend solutions If you meet the above requirements and interested in role please send your CV to email \ email .
