The candidate must be a good technical engineer/ geologist but also have their own initiative to drive delivery of projects manage other engineers input and take responsibility for the ultimate delivery of the work. There is an opportunity and the company desire that this candidate will grow to lead the regional department within the next year. Supervising mixed teams of junior and intermediate geotechnical engineers supervising technical and financial aspects of projects acting as a mentor to those juniors. For the initial period reporting to the regional Southern Africa Geotechnical Lead and deputising for that role whenever necessary.
