Duties: Supervision of all rail loading and offloading Administration and control of all Transnet related matters Supervision and development of staff Adherence to safety aspects on all railway related matters Build and maintain good relationships with all relevant stakeholders General administrative duties such as ensuring appropriate record keeping and report generating with regards to railway related duties Responsible for all railway regulated matters Job Competencies: Knowledge of statutory requirements (Railway Regulater) Ability to plan lead and coordinate job related activities Decision making skills Leading and supervising skills Good communicaition skills Knowledge on railway activities Ability to perform under stressful situations Team player General: The purpose of the job is to ensure and administer tje off-loading of all wet and dry raw materials via rail takes place in line with specifications at the main factory as well as all liquid sites. In addition also responsible for all Transnet Freight Rail related matters including adhering to the requirements of the Railway Regulator. Also to ensure materials are ordered and delivered on time if and when requested.
