Our client is currently looking for an Divisional Operations Manager to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective efficient and consistent implementation of the company s operational strategy in order to maximize the result areas of the stores in terms of - sales shrinkage costs people and profit. Requirements: Minimum of four years experience as a successful store manager Candidates that have gained experience and exposure across a range of stores will be preferred. A thorough and practical grasp of the day to day running of a store the issues that a store manager faces and their solutions. Knowledge of and ability to apply company strategy effectively across all the various store environments (your past performance will be taken into consideration in this regard). A track record in the company that has included direct responsibility for projects either opening new stores or projects to implement the operational strategy. Matric/Grade 12. A retail/business/marketing management diploma would be a definite advantage. Effective communication skills in English and a second language appropriate to the division. Outstanding leadership skills. Working knowledge of Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint. A valid Driver s license is essential. An inherent requirement for this position is travel and therefore the successful candidate will need to manage their ongoing travel requirements throughout their division.
