Implement programme monitoring and reporting systems that meet donor and DHSD requirements. Review monthly district data (facility treatment data DHIS). Monitor outputs for key indicators identified by the team. Identify query and correct discrepancies. Transfer corrected donor required data elements to M&E reporting grids. Support the MIAs and DIAs to conduct baseline site assessments develop feedback reports and conduct follow-up site assessments to evaluate the implemented data quality plans. Support the district support teams to identify gaps and discrepancies in the DHIS at the facility sub-district and district levels and suggest solutions. In conjunction with the Technical Specialists carry out M&E capacity building programmes to enhance understanding of M&E principles and use of effective M&E methodologies tools and systems. Identify M&E related operations research opportunities arising from activities/districts/projects that support. Support the roll out of National and Provincial M&E systems through training and mentoring DHSD staff at the district level. Master s degree preferred in a research orientated field (public health psychology). Proficiency in MS Office. Required minimum work experience 3-5 years developing implementing and managing M&E systems. Experience working with donor driven programmes in the South African context. Experience in M&E capacity building and mentoring. Report writing experience. DHIS experience. Positive enthusiastic and self-motivated approach to work. Adaptable with the ability to multi-task and prioritise. Demonstrated resourcefulness and ability to problem solve. Sound interpersonal and negotiation skills. Excellent analytical communication and presentation skills. Experience in sexual and reproductive health environment. Knowledge and understanding of HIV/AIDS. Frequent local travel will be required.
