Role Purpose Systems analyses design coding program debugging system testing security assessments performance assessments and user interfaces Responsibilities Produce specification according to agreed standards Impact analysis must include internal and external interfaces Coordinate/execute implementation plan in conjunction with the project members/teams Structure a technical test plan Document the test inputs and expected outputs Execute/coordinate the execution of the technical test Correct bug fixes Document the conversion and rules used for conversion Documentation to be completed in line with FNB standards. Additional Requirements Knowledge and experience required: At least 5 years practical systems / programming experience IBM Mainframe Cobol / IMS Hogan Excellent analytical skills Proven design skills Banking systems experience Ability to interact with users and technical staff at all levels Ability to work without supervision Attributes: Ability to interact with business and technical staff at all levels Innovative and creative / strong work ethic Team Player / self motivated Ability to Work under pressure / dependability and responsibility Qualifications and Experience Degree or Diploma. 3 Years related experience. Retail Bank exposure is an advantage.
Linux systems administration / engineer experience. Applicant must have RHCE 6 certificate. Practical understanding of Linux fundamentals and system administration Basic knowledge of network configuration security and troubleshooting Performance analysis and capacity planning Ensure the adherence to architectural standards
