Main Function To direct and assume responsibility for production and maintenance of business from new and existing source to ensure profitability and growth of the company and to provide excellent service to and relationship maintenance with intermediaries Job Description To effectively drive and deliver on the segmented model portfolio thus ensuring performance targets are achieved in line with the business strategy. ï ï Develop optimum relationships with intermediaries and internal role players. ï ï Ensure continuous strategic and business alignment between intermediary and the company ï ï Manage allocated portfolio growth retention profitability and any other business relevant factors. ï ï Ensure positive relationships are built and maintained and excellent customer service is provided to various role players (internal and external). ï ï Ensure relevant feedback information and reports are prepared submitted and presented to various stakeholders on all aspects of growth and profitability. ï ï Deliver optimal customer experience quality of service and achievement of personal targets. ï ï Identify and develop sales opportunities. ï ï Ensure a consistent and detailed understanding of the sales targets goals performance levels products business rules and conditions. ï ï Identify and drive the cost to serve model with relevance to allocated broker segment. ï ï Identify and drive opportunities to improve and enhance product and service offerings. ï ï Ensure a consistent detailed understanding amongst brokers of their growth targets goals performance levels and available products. ï ï Resolve customer complaints and queries where necessary. ï ï Keep abreast of market conditions and trends and relevant industry regulations. ï ï Management of main critical focus areas on balance sheet. ï ï Display and deeper understanding of and ability to market effectively all aspects of the business including UMAs and Specialist Insurance. ï ï Optimal use of business tools such as SFA BI CRM on demand to drive relevant business imperatives. ï ï Control DMA within portfolio. ï ï Drive increased utilisation of mf online and any other self-service platforms. ï ï Effective participation in any relevant industry related functions or forums. ï ï Ensure adherence to organisational policies practices and procedures. ï ï Identify and recommend areas / ways to improve processes. ï ï Maintain service quality and desired outputs within a specific functional process through ensuring compliance to tactical policies procedures and standards. ï ï Resolve escalated customer queries and complaints and provide feedback to customers on matters resolved. ï ï Develop work routines in line with operational plans / schedules in order to manage achievement of service delivery goals ï ï Share knowledge on and participate in the creation of new standards control systems and procedures to maintain service delivery. ï ï Proactively ensure use of time of resources money materials or equipment is in line with policies and procedures. ï ï Comply with corporate governance policies procedures and standards. ï ï Operate within agreed mandates. ï ï Align own behaviour with the organisation culture and values. ï ï Share and transfer product process and systems knowledge to colleagues. ï ï Collaborate and work with the Business Development team to deliver required service levels. ï ï Actively participate in the Business Development team to ensure functional balanced scorecard objectives are achieved. ï ï Ensure achievement of own performance objectives. ï ï Actively share information with other team members regarding success. or to apply for this vacancy.
