Our client a leading wholesale distribution company that has been established for over 40 years is seeking a dynamic individual to plan and carry out credit control (debtors) activities of the Cape Town Branch so as to maintain and improve on the current credit control standards in accordance with agreed company procedure and standards. Only those candidates with a sound track record and the necessary skills and experience will be considered for an interview. Minimum requirements: Relevant accounting/booking tertiary qualifications/diplomas would be advantageous Fully Computer literate (Excel; intermediate advanced) Possess basic accounting knowledge with strong Debtors knowledge Previous credit control and debtors experience is essential Basic self-management skills to direct their own achievement of objectives to constantly meet and better company standards Able to work under pressure work as a team member and meet deadlines Attention to detail analytical goal setting and focused Reliable transport arrangements Working Hours include: Mon Fri (07h00 16h30) Work 1 Saturday per month from 08h00 11h00 Key performance areas will include but not be limited to: Process of new credit applications Updates of credit limits to be done on a regular basis Ensure that each debtor account is on file Ensure authorization for customers exceeding their credit limit Ensure customers statements are received timeously Ensure strong relations with customers to address all credits and queries Manage all other related capturing filing and administrative duties Assist team members when required In return our client offers: R10 000 R12 000 CTC Salary (Negotiable depending qualifications experience and skills) Monthly performance bonus Permanent employment Supportive management structure Long term career path growth and development opportunities
