MNA Recruiting Quality Assurance Manager - Gauteng Leading Pharmaceutical Company has a vacancy for a Quality Assurance Manager to be based in Gauteng KEY JOB OBJECTIVES Release final product for sale. Responsible for the development implementation and maintenance of a total quality programme Liaise with and monitor contract manufacturers laboratories and distributors on all quality issues. Ensure GMP compliance. To implement Change control programme RESPONIBILITIES Conduct QA checks on imported and locally manufactured finished products and documentation and release for sale Liaise with and monitor contract manufacturers laboratories and distributors on all technical issues Liaise with laboratories on testing schedule/ priorities for the release of final product Ensure GMP compliance of manufacturers laboratories and distributors Conduct audits and self-inspections of contract manufacturers laboratories distributors and packaging suppliers Maintain records of technical/manufacturing queries Provide reference standards to laboratories Recording of customer complaints and reporting to relevant manufacturers Attend meetings with contract manufacturers laboratories and distributors as required Validations Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures Liaise with packaging materials suppliers on artwork. Organise signing off of approval for packaging material artwork Organise relevant permits Maintain and update relevant documents (e.g. release forms SMF) to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Contract reviews Check customer returns and authorise stock write off s Completion of Custom s clearance forms Updating of specifications Regulatory assistance Conduct reviews and studies as required HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL OR TERTIARY EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS Tertiary qualifications in pharmacy Registration with the Pharmacy Council South Africa EXPERIENCE Minimum 1 year production experience is advantageous Minimum 2 years quality assurance experience Experience/exposure to regulatory affairs is a recommendation. Minimum 2 years experience as QA manager COMPETENCIES Good project management skills. Well-developed problem solving and analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail. Well-developed interpersonal skills negotiation skills and customer focus. Ability to work well in a team environment.
