Sales Territory Manager

Planning Analyse competitor strategies and tactics and stay abreast of latest developments in the market and analyse market trends Acquire and maintain specific knowledge on all areas related to the success of the product portfolio Present and implement sales strategy Meet or exceed defined territory sales objectives Meet or exceed the defined territory growth objectives and market share goals in accordance with agreed priorities Manage a sizable basket of products Maintain an in-depth understanding of products and how each product is best used Customer Relations Ensure healthy relationship with current and potential customers Gather customer requirements to ensure customer satisfaction Generate orders from customers Maximise time spent with the customers by correct monthly call planning Maintain good relations and communication with internal customers i.e. Customer Services Finance Department Logistics and management Monitoring and controls to ensure achievement of unit sales objective Sales Achievement Achieving or exceeding agreed sales targets Adhere to company strategy and promotional messaging Develop and manage key accounts/customers Achieve to agreed call rate by customer type Responsible for the delivery of value added services to targeted key accounts to create increase utilisation of products Identify potential sales and marketing opportunities Training Training Events Give demonstrations of products and have thorough knowledge thereof Train new customers on range of products Participate in Genop cycle and sales meetings and provide input to Business Unit Manager concerning local practices Administrative Duties Reports Adhere to credit policies and procedures Maintain all administrative responsibilities re monthly report sales territory management system and submit within required timeframe Ensure all sales activities comply with legal and ethical standards Managing business expenses within the budget provided Email cv s to email or to apply for this vacancy. Achieve sales forecast for their territory and ensure we gain dominant market share To grow our sales faster than our competitors and so gain market share Be the preferred supplier in all the markets we serve Management of consignment stock (DRP) for appropriate ROI Establish specific sales objectives per account based on competitive activity and maximisation of upgrade potential Maintain daily sales activity expectations in line with national objectives from sales and marketing plans Conduct sales presentations in a professional manner and in line with corporate guidelines Ensure optimal product knowledge in order to advise customers and detail products appropriately (achieve a minimum of 85% on all training tests) Maintain all equipment / company assets / records in good working order and ensure accurate record keeping of same e.g. vehicle computer equipment / generators Be presentable and foster a positive image of Compny at all times.
