The person will report directly to the Logistics Director. reponsible for the entire accounting function of the company including local branches in Cape Town PE EL Durban Pretoria and Johannesburg and over border branches in Lesotho Swaziland Zambia and Botswana. Preparation of annual budgets. Preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts for 5 companies Preparation of year end accounts within Group reporting and audit deadlines Handling all aspects of external audit Processing and payments of salaries for over border branches. Tax payments for over border branches. Monitoring debt collections and creditor payments. Assistance with annual and provisional tax returns for all companies including overborder Payments of creditors via electronic banking Cash flow control. Liaising with legal department/attorney s on all legal matters Oversee fixed assets on Pastel Submission and payment of monthly returns for the NBCRFLI Assistance in setting annual rates for distribution to clients Control and monitoring of diesel stocks Dealing with various HR issues and disciplinary matters Preparing and controlling companies B-BBEE requirements for verification The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years post qualification experience in Financial Management and be able to manage a large team Please email cv to recruitment@kontak.co.za and quote kon900 in the subject line
