Senior Procurement Manager

Capital PFS Senior Procurement Manager Duties and Responsibilities: -Prepare and implement a proper purchasing procedure - Establish & Maintain a database of products and materials required. - Manage the department reports and deliverables. - Notify Senior Management of any conditions or special trends that may influence supply. - Constantly monitor the performance of the Procurement Department to ensure that the procedures are being followed. - Maintain relationships with Suppliers and negotiate Supply Contracts as and when required. - On an ongoing basis continue to refine and look at ways of improving the procurement process with a view to automation wherever possible with no compromise on controls - Develop and identify new sources of products and services. -Establish and supervise maintenance of files data and lists of approved vendors. - Management and supervision of the performance of procurement staff. Requirements: -Qualifications: BS degree in supply chain management mechanical engineering industrial engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience are expected. - You Knowledge of commercial contracts sourcing on international markets and proven negotiation skills are key for this position. SAP knowledge is welcome. - You should have proven leadership and team development skills. -You must have at least 8 years at least 5 in similar position - Proven expertise in managing a business in Procurement Department - As Supply Chain / Procurement Manager you are a member of the local management team. You will not only establish the local procurement organization in cooperation with the Local Managing Director and the globally responsible Product Group Manager for thickener products but also with Group Management in the areas of procurement quality and market management.
