Well known food manufacturing group requires the above to be responsible for: Identify market opportunities for those products represented in the Principal Product portfolio. Track market trends with regards to eating patterns product demand changing demographics that could impact on the portfolio of products. Assist Sector Heads and Technical Developers to manage programs with specific accounts with a view to establishing sustainable business with the product portfolio available. Assist in the implementation of systems and procedures that will guarantee a high level of communications both inbound and outbound between the client the company and the principal. Assist Sector Heads in evaluating and managing these systems to ensure continuity of the communication process. Provide regular feedback to the clients on New Product Development product launches promotions market trends new application fields and specific Ingredient Functionalities. Assist Marketing/Innovations Department in developing well designed communication information such as data sheets for all new products developed. Liaise with product design department with a view to including the principle products in - house manufactured batch pack systems. Assist General Manager with all commercial and logistical enquiries regarding the Ingredients Portfolio which may include: costings stock availabilities order confirmations technical information sharing new launch protocols within specific market sectors etc. Present and Demonstrate Market Specific Expertise technical intellect and marketing capabilities of all Supplier Products specific to the relevant targeted segment to all Commercial Branches as well as Manufacturing divisions. Provide product and technical support assist with price negotiations and manage promotional activities in order to position Supplier Ingredients in such a way as to promote future business growth. Minimum requirements for the role: Qualification in Food Technology or BSc Food Sciences. 10 Years Technical and applications experience in the dairy and beverage sector within the food industry. At least 8 years experience in key accounts product development and the development and marketing of functional food ingredient product portfolios.
