Purpose of the Role: Work with and leverage resources across the Group SAP teams stakeholders and key suppliers in order to optimize Global SAP ERP resources / utilization and thereby improve business processes efficiencies decisions deliverables and outputs. R1m to R1.3m TCTC p.a. Key Responsibilities Lead and Manage the Global SAP Centre of Excellence in terms of Providing strategic direction to staff Drive continuous improvement to business processes through optimization of SAP ERP solutions. Manage / oversee implementation of new solutions upgrades enhancements etc. Identify new solutions ensure SAP / ERP project delivery Perform Medium and long term planning re the global SAP COE Implementing COE strategy. Taking full responsibility for the COE re its development governance (structures standards processes) performance and SAP / ERP applications. Drive standardization and cost effectiveness across Group. Establish SAP knowledge base Provide innovative consulting and value to the Group operations through: Working on complex business issues across enterprise functions and processes. Acting as an expert resource to leverage SAP / ERP to enable and improve quality of decision making and processes economical delivery of SAP solutions ultimate ROI. To Lead and manage the IM infrastructure deliverables systems and operations for all Africa region including Network services Service Desk End user computing and Back office KEY RESPONSIBILITIES leading managing and monitoring the teams and deliverables of the Africa IM Infrastructure teams at agreed service levels Partakes in setting and then manages and monitors the relevant IT operating and capital budgets whilst continuously searching for cost saving opportunities Integrates and optimizes the planning execution and monitoring of the IM deliverables related to the Africa IM Infrastructure organization. Owns all service and infrastructure supplier relationships within the Africa region and resolves any escalated issues Ensures that Global IM policies standards and principles are applied. Manages monitors reports and negotiates service level agreements and operational level agreements with clients and suppliers. Implements and tests a functional and effective disaster recovery plan for the IM systems within the Africa Infrastructure portfolio Ensures effective people management by prioritisng procuring and assigning work according to internal and external requirements and effective performance management Ensuring adherence to the overarching IM governance framework Takes overall accountability for IM performance of the Africa IM Infrastructure organisation
