HOSPITALITY SALES REPS The successful candidate will promote the Companies range of Linen and soft furnishings to the Hospitality Industry increasing the revenue of the store by taking advantage of all leads and new business opportunities Please read the job spec carefully before applying only suitable candidates will be contacted Synopsis of position (The hospitality division operating out of the retail division) Five additional sales reps will be employed to cover specific geographic area s o These sales reps will be stationed at pre-determined retail stores in each area viz. The reps employed will be measured against the following KPA s : o Develop and maintain customer relationships and promote company products and services against pre-set targets. o The sales reps performance will be measured against pre-set targets viz. sales budget. It is however imperative to understand that failure to meet sales budgets are viewed in a very serious light. (Sales budgets are set based on history and are considered to be fair.) o Increase customer base by using methods of lateral thinking and creativity. o Enhance and spread a good company image by using professional selling skills. o Proactively enhance the concept of teamwork. Daily duties and responsibilities: Responsible for the turnover and growth of the retail hospitality business in accordance with anticipated sales volumes. The initial focus and objective of the external sales consultant would be to re-establish the Company s brand with inactive customers throughout the area. These customers; generally fall into the category of small to medium size enterprises. Increase sales volumes by using methods of lateral thinking and creativity. Actively pursue any leads or customer requests and proactively turn these leads and requests into definite sales. Proactively market the full range of (Company s) products to customers including; hospitals hotels bed and breakfast establishments guesthouses motels old age homes educational institutions sporting clubs and any other potential customer.
