A leading company that is in the Business of invents and manufactures technologies to address tough challenges linked to global macro trends is looking for a Senior Field Service Specialist who hasknowledge of IT networking related troubleshooting skills (e.g. Cisco switches) and 5 years experience in Oil and Gas plants. Qualifications and Experience Required: Tertiary qualified (degree and/or trade IT Electrical or Electronic Diploma or higher) in business/facility management or related industry. EXPERIENCE Experience with electronic controls and monitoring equipment. Experience with the company control systems and EBI products including BMS Access Control Security HVAC Fire and Life Safety CCTV and Digital Video Asset Tracking Energy Management and other systems that may from time to time be added to the product range. Experience with management of contractual services. Experience with Quality Assurance and Quality control policies. The Incumbent will be responsible for: Repair by complex replacement of related delicate equipment. Issue of intervention and feedback reports as requested by the customer. Perform deep diagnosis and integrity check on controllers workstations servers network equipments etc. (e.g. network load measurement disk capacity measurement CPU load measurement as specified in the contract). Upgrade the software regularly to maintain the system to its best level of availability integrity and security. Regularly inform the customer of new versions of software and of release of patches as specified and covered in the current contract. Ensure that work delivered is carried out in a professional timely and cost effective manner. Ensure customer satisfaction is high through direct liaison with client representatives customers and service recipients. The ability to perform small to medium project installations including managing Subcontractors. Adhere to daily Health and Safety activities as required in contract requirements. Technical Compliance with Accounting Standards (IFRS): 1. Maintain current and implement new IFRS standards 2. Research statements and assess applicability to the head office and divisions within the organization 3. Ensure compliance with existing accounting standards (IFRS) and other relevant accounting standards 4. Review and application of business accounting policies to comply with SA and international standards as applicable 5. Ensure that all relevant statutory requirements are taken into consideration and managed 6. Liaise with PETRONAS Lubricants International (PLI) head office regarding accounting issues and compliance with IFRS Reporting: 7. Preparation and submission of monthly management accounts forecasts budgets quarter end and year-end packs 8. Prepare consolidated budgets forecasts and management accounts 9. Ensure adherence to deadlines Annual Reporting: 10. Preparation of the year-end packs and ensure year-end pack reflects information required for annual reports 11. Prepare the annual report including: disclosure corporate governance & sustainability reporting technical adherence to IFRS standards 12. Be the key contact person with the external and internal auditors 13. Liaise with head office as required 14. Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements for business entities Controls Frameworks Policies and Governance: 15. Implement and be the custodian of the control frameworks 16. Ensure adherence to the company Level of Authorities (LOA s) and Summary of Authorities (SOA s) 17. Implement and maintain the various company and group policies Other Responsibilities: 18. Plan control monitor and enhance the Company s general ledger system and functions in an organised and effective manner 19. Administer the yearend financial audit 20. Effective plan tax related activities for submission / payments to tax authorities 21. Lead and coordinate to ensure timely and accurate submission of financial and statistical information as required by Management and Government Authorities 22. Treasury functions including payment administration and approvals 23. Reconciliations of key general ledger accounts Ad-Hoc Projects: 24. Responsible for ad-hoc projects as and when required Key Challenges: 1. Ability to work independently without supervision. 2.
