AP Management Consultant (Pty) Ltd FMCG Credit Controller (6175) FMCG Credit Controller Position based in Roodepoort Salary R13 000 to R17 500 per month A major distribution company based in Roodepoort requires the expertise of an FMCG Credit Controller who will be tasked with controlling debtor accounts and managing the risk of bad debt in accordance with established policies and procedures. Duties will include reporting on client account history working on new credit applications and resolving queries and disputes among many other duties. At least 3 years Credit Control experience in an FMCG or wholesale environment c. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office d. Knowledge of legislation such as the NCA CA and CPA e. Understanding of credit insurance credit vetting legal proceedings etc. Objectives and responsibilities a. Minimising bad debt and maximising the percentage of current receivables b. Maintaining the integrity of the credit portfolio c. Creating reports on the client s account history d. Executing new credit applications within set timeframes e. Interacting with internal and external customers f. Reviewing and maintaining customer credit files g. Analysing high exposure and high risk accounts h. Evaluating credit risk and payment trends i. Reviewing and releasing blocked orders j. Handling credit related projects in the department k. Identifying and reporting issues encountered to minimise business risk l. Providing the customer with copies of invoices and proof of delivery m. Handing disputes related to payment terms and billing n. Resolving issues related to duplicated or partial payments o. Working with Customer Service and Sales to resolve issues encountered p. Forwarding statements to customers q. Resolving issues related to unauthorised customer deductions r.
